What is Parkinson’s disease?

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive nervous system disorder that affects movement.  Parkinson’s disease symptoms include muscle rigidity, tremors, and changes in speech and gait. After diagnosis, treatments can help relieve symptoms, but there is no cure.
