- Redness
- Swelling
- Severe pain at the area
- Vomiting
- Trouble seeing
- Tingling of the limbs
Treatment
- Washing the wound with soap and water
- Antivenom
Prevention
- Protective footwear
- Avoiding areas where snakes live
- Not handling snakes
